MUNSTER rugby secured a much needed bonus point win over Edinburgh at Musgrave Park tonight. The final scoreline of 27-19 does not tell the full story in what was a weird game. Munster led 20-13 at the break thanks to tries from Conway, Zebo and Scannell.
However, a full forty minutes without a score from the men in red, saw Edinburgh eek their way back into the game, getting the score as close to 20-19.
The bonus point try came from Francis Saili, who barrelled over from 5 metres out to the delight of a sold out Musgrave Park.
Munster now head into next Saturday’s clash with the Scarlets in sixth spot, with Champions Cup qualification in their own hands.
