THE LIMERICK hurlers face Dublin on Saturday night in the National League quarter finals.
The clash, which throws in at 7pm, in Parnell Park, will not be televised (the game is live on Limerick’s Live95fm).
Fans who travel to the Capital will see the return of the All Ireland Club champions Na Piarsaigh contingent. There are currently nine members of the Limerick City club on the Limerick panel, but as of yet, it is unknown as to how many will make the starting fifteen for this weekend’s last eight clash.
Dublin enter the game as hot favourites by virtue of their home advantage, their recent form over Limerick and also their performances this season in defeating Cork, Galway and Waterford in the league, group stages.
Following Limerick’s loss to Clare in Division 1B, TJ Ryan was quick to remind anyone who would listen that there are scores to settle with Dublin.
“We owe them one”, commented the Garryspillane clubman. Indeed Limerick do.
