Dublin made it five from five wins in Division 1 of the National Football League with a 1-15 to 1-7 victory over Down on Saturday night.

Jim Gavin’s side remain odds on at 8/15 to retain the Irish National Insurance Cup but it’s Kerry who recorded a five point victory over Mayo on Sunday to make it three wins so far in the campaign that are the biggest movers into 7/2 second favourites from 13/2 to win a record 20th title.

Roscommon continued their superb campaign with a five point victory over Donegal that has them looking towards the League semi-finals. The Rossies are 7/1 to cause a shock and claim the National Football League title whilst Donegal have been eased out to 10/1 from 11/2 as a result of the defeat.

In Division 2, Tyrone made it five wins from five after defeating Meath by six points. The Red Hands have hardened into 2/5 from 1/2 to win Division 2 whilst their nearest rivals, in the betting, Cavan who saw past Fermanagh by three points on Saturday evening priced at 5/1 with Galway next in the betting at 11/2.

Despite their one point shock defeat to Sligo, Kildare remain odds on at 4/9 to win Division 3 with Tipperary who suffered defeat to Longford next in the betting at 5/1. After shattering the Premier County’s unbeaten record, Denis Connerton’s Longford are now 11/1 from 40/1 to win Division 3.

Division 4 sees unbeaten Antrim harden further into 4/6 from 4/5 to claim the crown with Wexford and Louth, who both have won four out of their five games, next in the betting at 11/4 and 7/2 respectively.

Liam Glynn, BoyleSports’ spokesperson said: “Dublin continue to dominate in their bid to retain the Division 1 crown but they won’t have it all their own way as Kerry have started to close in on them. The Kingdom are now 7/2 from 13/2 to win a record 20th title and have seen some interest following their easy victory away to Mayo on Sunday.”

He added “Roscommon continued their excellent run by defeating Donegal but Kevin McStay and Fergal O’Donnell’s squad next two matches will be crucial as they host to Mayo and Dublin.”
