THIS could be our year? Couldn’t it? Are we allowed to say that?

All jokes aside: with the fourth Harty Cup title in seven seasons for Árd Scoil Rís in the bag, alongside the presence of three Limerick colleges in the semi final of the Fitzgibbon Cup, coupled with the U/21 All Ireland crown, it may just be time to started believing instead of dreaming.

The quest for the Liam McCarthy Cup will begin again in the Summer of 2016, but wins like last Sunday for Árd Scoil are the green shoots of recovery that have not been here since the 1973 final. Yes, there were ad hoc U/21 and Minor titles and appearances in Senior finals too, but the foundations are stronger than ever now. Time to believe and not be afraid of dreaming anymore.
